Therapy for Identity, Authenticity & Confidence
I work with smart, creative adults navigating big questions: Who am I beyond the roles I've been playing? What do I actually want? How do I live authentically without losing what matters most?
Who I Help
-
You Feel Like You’re Faking It (Even Though Everyone Else Thinks You’re Doing Great)
People tell you you’re talented, capable, doing well—but you don’t believe them. You work incredibly hard to prove yourself, but it never feels like enough. You downplay your accomplishments, worry about being “found out,” and can’t shake the feeling that you’re just pretending to be competent.
This is impostor syndrome, and it’s exhausting. I help people-pleasers and high-functioning perfectionists move from performing competence to actually feeling it. We’ll work on quieting that critical voice, setting boundaries around overworking, and building confidence that doesn’t require constant external validation.

You’re Smart and Capable—But You Still Don’t Know What You’re Doing With Your Life
Maybe you’re stuck in a job that pays the bills but doesn’t fulfill you. Maybe you’ve got multiple interests but can’t commit to a path. Maybe you’re a creative professional or artist who chose the “practical” route and now feel disconnected from yourself. Or maybe you’re navigating a major life transition—new parenthood, career change, relocation—and feeling untethered from who you thought you were.
You’re not in crisis, but you’re lost. I help people figure out who they are beyond the roles they’ve been playing, identify what actually matters to them, and build the courage to pursue it. I understand this struggle personally—I left medical school without knowing what was next, and I still balance two careers. You don’t have to have it all figured out to move forward.

Being Yourself Threatens Your Most Important Relationships
Maybe you’re LGBTQ+ and your family is struggling to accept you. Maybe you’re questioning or leaving the faith you were raised in—or trying to figure out how to stay while being yourself. Maybe you’re the “good child” exhausted from managing everyone’s expectations. Maybe you’re in a controlling relationship or navigating couples issues around authenticity and expectations.
Whatever the specifics, the dynamic is the same: being yourself feels like betrayal. I’m not here to push you toward or away from any path—I’m a safe space to explore what’s right for you, whether that means leaving, staying, integrating, or something in between. You love the people in your life, but you’re suffocating. I’ll help you figure out how to honor both your truth and your relationships.
Maybe you…
• Feel like you’ve been playing a role for so long that you’ve forgotten who you actually are
• Know something needs to change, but you’re terrified of disappointing the people you love
• Worry that if people really knew you, they’d be disappointed or reject you
• Have achieved what you were “supposed” to achieve—and now you’re wondering “is this it?”
• Are tired of code-switching between who you are and who your family/workplace/community needs you to be
• Feel like everyone else has their life figured out—except you
• Are questioning beliefs or identities you’ve held your whole life and don’t know where to start
• Have spent years being the “good child,” “responsible one,” or “glue that holds everyone together”—and you’re exhausted
• Want to pursue something creative or meaningful but feel guilty for being “impractical” or “selfish”
• Feel stuck between honoring your truth and maintaining your most important relationships
